Repentance
I don’t how Rich put up with me. When we were young I did not make the basketball team and he did because he was good. I don’t remember if he told me or my parents, but I was told that threat to quick and play Church ball with me. When I heard what he offered, I said absolutely not. I told him, who would I watch if he was not playing?
We had our fights growing up, but when Grandpa passed away, I acted like Doug always act, stupid. He was talking politics with Blair and Blair is pretty set in his believes and I guess Rich and I can be also. Well Rich looked upset so I made it worse. I removed my glasses and said, “you can hit me”. Well Rich wasn’t going to hit anyone, but I just poured salt into the wound and I feel bad for my actions. Of course, that is not the first time I have put my feet in my mouth. Rich has been a great older brother. I do believe we have gone along well for the most part. Especially when we play ball on the same team.
One time in Sandy, after we moved in with him, the ward there loved us. One individual, Gordon White, would always make sure we were at the game. I believer we had a pretty good record. Of course that was when we were still young and could jump.
